St Peter's College Enrolment Information

Overview
St Peter's College is a Catholic school for boys from Year 7 - 13. We enrol students primarily in Year 7. We also
enrol a smaller number of students into Year 9. Places at other year levels are subject to limited availablity.

In line with our commitment to the Special Character of St Peter's and the Integrated Schools agreement between the Ministry of Education and the Diocese of Auckland, 95% or more of our students are from a Catholic background.

Our catchment area is generally the south side of the Auckland Harbour Bridge, predominantly the suburbs in the vicinity of the school such as Mt Eden, Mt Albert, Epsom and Royal Oak, but also suburbs from which a large number of students attend are Henderson, Pt Chevalier, Mt Roskill, Blockhouse Bay, Onehunga and Manurewa to name a few. Students from these areas predominantly come from their local Catholic Schools.

Our applications are open the year before your son is due to start ie when he is in Year 6 you apply for Year 7 etc and applications are accepted from beginning of February to end May.

All year levels are now processed in Term 2 (prior to 2012 Years 9–13 were not placed until Term 3). All prospective Year 7 & 8 students are interviewed in Term 2 and Year 9–13 applicants will also be interviewed at this time in accordance with places available, however interviews for all Year 9–13 applicants may not be possible.

OPEN DAY 2012 for entry to the school in 2013: Tuesday 6th March at 11am or 1.30pm in the College Hall - parents and boys welcome - registration not required

Enrolment Forms for entry to the school in 2013 are available for downloading now if you wish to view them, however applications are not accepted until 1st February 2012. Applications must be submitted no later than Thursday 31st May 2012 at 4pm.
