Game Days: Middle School –Games start in Term 2.

Central Zone Basketball Middle school teams are combined Y7 / Y8. teams could play either Monday (SPC), Tuesday (Central Zones) or Thursday (Central Zones)

AIMS Games – September 1 3*3 team and 1 Basketball team

Senior (Yr 9 – 13) – Competitive Teams U15 grade – Wednesdays 6th May-August 20th 2026- 4.00pm Home and Away

U17 grade – Tuesdays – 4.00 – 7.00pm ASB Stadium

U19 grade – Fridays – 4.00pm Home and Away

1st V – Fridays – Home and Away, regionals Winter tournament week, Nationals (need to qualify top 6 in Auckland) October school Holidays

Practice Times: Trainings are generally held before school, once a week (in the gym). Depending on level of the team.

Uniform:

1st V – Uniform provided by Sports Office

Basketball Singlet: $63 / Basketball Shorts: $60 / Basketball Warm Up Top: $60

Trials and musters for all age groups are held during Term 1 to ensure players are placed in the team best suited to their skills and development needs.

Participation is open to all students, with an emphasis on identifying talent while promoting inclusivity.

Under the leadership of Basketball Director Joshua Reeves, this structure, supported by excellent coaching, resources, and facilities, ensures that every student, can enjoy basketball, develop as a player, and represent St. Peter’s College on and off the court. The program is committed to using basketball as a vehicle for life skills, personal growth, and fostering lasting friendships.
