Martial arts is a traditional sport deeply rooted in Chinese culture and history. We will invite a professional martial arts coach to school for each training session in Term 3 and will participate the New Zealand national martial arts competition in October.

To gain a better understanding of martial arts and Chinese culture, we will organize the Chinese drumming training in Term 2. A professional coach will lead the sessions, and we will perform both within and outside the school.

This is a sport we facilitate entry into, anyone interested in joining please contact Mrs Bingmei Zhang

Training: Term 2 & 3 (Year 7– Year 13)

Practice Time: every Wednesday after school, 3:10pm – 4:40pm

Venue: Chinese classroom C14

Cost: Free

Equipment: SPC PE gear. The performance and competition clothing will be provided by the school.
